IBCreator and OpenArt both let you reuse one AI character, but they solve different jobs. IBCreator locks a face into a 6-angle Persona Vault and shoots 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 16:9 together from it. OpenArt is a large multi-model platform where you save a character, tag it in 100+ image, video and audio models, and train custom characters.
Key takeaways
- Identity setup: IBCreator generates a fixed 6-angle turnaround (Front, 3/4, Profile, Back, Macro Close-Up, Full Body) in one pass. OpenArt builds a character from a prompt, reference image or presets, can turn one image into 9 angles with Multi-View, and can train a custom Character model from 4 to 100 images.
- Formats: IBCreator's Batch Studio renders four social ratios in parallel per scene. OpenArt supports many aspect ratios, chosen in its generators.
- Video: both offer Google Veo 3.1. OpenArt also offers many other video models and a Director mode for videos up to 5 minutes.
- Price of entry: IBCreator starts with a $9 one-time pack of 120 non-expiring credits. OpenArt's monthly plans start at $14 for Starter.
- Fit: multi-format persona campaigns lean IBCreator. Broad model experimentation and long-form storytelling lean OpenArt.

What is IBCreator?
IBCreator is an identity-locked AI influencer and 4K cinema studio built around one idea: lock the face once, ship every format.
- Persona Vault: a 6-angle biometric turnaround sheet generated in one pass. A Persona Wizard can draft traits, wardrobe rules, camera signatures and a backstory.
- Batch Studio: 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 16:9 versions of a scene in parallel. Basic mode costs 4 credits per photo and Pro 4K mode costs 10.
- Cinema video: 8-second Google Veo 3.1 clips, with native voice and foley on Pro and Agency plans.
- Delivery: one-click export to your own Google Drive.
What is OpenArt?
OpenArt is an all-in-one AI image and video platform. For consistent characters it offers:
- Character Builder: start from a reference image, a text prompt, or presets such as vibe, gender, ethnicity and age range, then save the character and tag it in new generations (OpenArt AI Character).
- Model choice: tag the same character in image models such as GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana Pro and Seedream 5.0 Pro, and video models such as Seedance 2.5, Gemini Omni and Veo 3.1 (same page). Its pricing page lists access to 100+ premium image, video and audio models (OpenArt pricing).
- Multi-View turns one image of your character into 9 angles, and you can train a custom Character model from 4 to 100 sample images (OpenArt AI Character).
- Director mode plans scenes and produces videos up to 5 minutes long with the same face in every scene (same page).
- An AI Influencer Generator page that supports adding a background story to shape personality (OpenArt AI Influencer).

How do they keep the face consistent?
OpenArt gives you several levels. You can save a character and tag it, generate extra angles with Multi-View, or train a custom Character model when you'll use that character often. OpenArt is open about the limits: its AI influencer FAQ says consistency is strong but "slight variations can still occur" and can be refined over multiple generations (source).
IBCreator takes one opinionated path. The vault is always the same six standardized angles, and every batch conditions on it. You don't choose between methods or collect a training set. You approve six angles, then shoot. The trade-off is less model choice than OpenArt.

Which is better for multi-format social campaigns?
If one shoot has to fill a 4:5 Instagram post, a 9:16 Reel or Story, a 1:1 tile and a 16:9 X or YouTube banner, IBCreator's Batch Studio does all four in one run from the same vault. Max batch sizes run from 10 images on Starter to 100 images plus CSV upload on Agency. On OpenArt you pick the aspect ratio inside each generator, which gives fine control but means separate runs per format.
Which is better for video and storytelling?
OpenArt is stronger if you want breadth: many video models, motion control from reference videos, and Director mode for multi-scene videos up to 5 minutes. IBCreator focuses on short cinematic clips: approved persona stills animated into 8-second Veo 3.1 clips, with optional native voice and foley on Pro and Agency.
How does pricing compare?
IBCreator (pricing):
- $9 trial pack: 120 credits that never expire and 1 active persona.
- Starter $29/mo (450 credits, 3 personas), Pro $79/mo (1,400 credits, 15 personas, Veo native audio), Agency $199/mo (4,000 credits, unlimited personas). Annual billing lowers these to $24, $65 and $165 per month.
- Unused subscription credits roll over up to 1x the monthly allowance.
OpenArt (pricing, individual plans, checked October 20, 2026):
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | Credits/month | Consistent characters (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $14 | $13/mo | 4,000 | ~13 |
| Plus | $34 | $27/mo | 12,000 | ~40 |
| Pro | $56 | $44/mo | 24,000 | ~80 |
| Wonder | $240 | $175/mo | 106,000 | ~353 |
OpenArt's page labels its annual discount (up to 27%) as a limited-time offer. Credit systems differ between the two platforms, so compare by the output you need each month, not by raw credit counts.
Who should choose which?
Choose IBCreator if you:
- run influencer, UGC, fashion or agency campaigns that need every ratio from one shoot,
- want a single, fixed consistency workflow instead of picking methods and models,
- deliver to clients through Google Drive, or
- want to test with a $9 pack instead of a monthly plan.
Choose OpenArt if you:
- want to try many image and video models in one subscription,
- make longer multi-scene stories (Director mode, up to 5 minutes),
- prefer to train a custom character model on your own image set, or
- work inside agents or After Effects via OpenArt's MCP & CLI and plugin.
If multi-format consistency is your bottleneck, try the $9 trial and shoot a four-ratio batch of your own persona.
Responsible use
Both platforms produce realistic people. OpenArt's own FAQ recommends disclosing that an influencer is virtual and warns against replicating real people without consent (source). TikTok and YouTube require labels on realistic AI content (TikTok, YouTube). Disclose sponsorships too. See How to Monetize an AI Influencer.
